A project of the day. Working with the Model 1034D Brother Serger

Recently I bought an overlock model 1034D Brother. Fantastic machine!The first few days for some reason unknown to me, I was afraid to touch it,. And then suddenly sat down and had made this fabulous sweater / dress. I had this fabric at least for two years and could not find a use for it . If I’m not mistaking I bought it for $6 per yard ( 65% wool, 35% polyester) , now this fabric cost at least $25 per yard.I would appreciate if somebody will tell me where I can find “ brushed wool jersey’ or light “ wool knit “ for a cheaper price. Thank you!

This beautiful Nuno scarf is lightweight and soft. Yet, it will keep you warm, snug, and cozy. It can be worn in the summer, spring or winter. It's big enough to use as a scarf or a shawl.
The scarf was designed, felted and hand dyed by me. Don't mistake the fringe with a decorating yarn , it was crocheted by hand!

My Dear customers and guests,

Please visit an exhibition showcase in the Fred Pommerantz Art and Design Center on 27th Street and Seventh Avenue, NY. The show is on view for approximately three weeks from March 28th through April 23. This year’s show explores the impact of color on consumers in the area of Accessory Design and the exhibit will feature twenty different accessories individually featured on mannequins. Each mannequin will display one accessory and one unique color.

Vital Temptation will be a participant in the exhibition by showcasing the felted wool scarf in brown/burnt orange featured on Etsy. The scarf would be individually featured on a mannequin representing the color Brown.
